Course Overview
The A1 course is designed for complete beginners with no prior French knowledge. You'll learn the building blocks of the language: alphabet, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and simple sentence structures. By the end of this course, you'll be able to introduce yourself, ask simple questions, and understand basic French in familiar contexts.
What You'll Learn
Understand and pronounce the French alphabet
Master basic greetings and farewells
Introduce yourself and provide personal information
Count from 1 to 100
Use basic present tense verbs
Ask and answer simple questions
Describe people, places, and objects simply
Recognize and use common everyday vocabulary
Curriculum
Requirements
- No prior French knowledge required
- Computer with camera and microphone
- Stable internet connection
- 2 hours of class + 1 hour of personal study and practice per week (3 hours total)
